Wanted the movie to be called 'The Price of Our Blood' and be a longer, more plot-heavy film about Brooklyn and Italian culture, but Warner Brothers mandated a three-word Seagal title and a sub-90-minute runtime. Said about Seagal: 'I didn't get along with Steven. He was always about an hour late for work and caused a lot of delays.'
