Australian actor who gave one of the most iconic performances of the 21st century as the Joker in 'The Dark Knight', winning a posthumous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Also legendary in 'Brokeback Mountain'. Died in January 2008, six months before 'The Dark Knight''s release.
