George Roy Hill
Director of 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' (1969) and 'The Sting' (1973), both starring Newman and Redford. Won the Best Director Oscar for 'The Sting'. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and willingness to fight with actors over creative decisions. Also directed 'Slap Shot', 'The World According to Garp', and 'Funny Farm'.
