Geoffrey Unsworth
Legendary British cinematographer who shot Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' (1968) – the front-projection Dawn of Man backdrops, the centrifuge interior, and the painstaking 205 special-effects shots all live under his lighting. Won the Oscar for 'Cabaret' (1972) and posthumously for 'Tess' (1979). Also shot 'Superman' (1978).
