Daniel Richter
American mime and choreographer who played Moonwatcher, the lead proto-human / 'Dawn of Man' ape, in '2001: A Space Odyssey' (1968). Choreographed the entire ape sequence. Sean Fennessey's Dion-Waiters / Heat-Check pick: 'amazing performance' under prosthetics. Robert Shaw was reportedly considered for the role.
