Singer-songwriter best known as the guitar guy who gets his acoustic smashed into the wall by Bluto in 'Animal House' (1978). Met Karen Allen on set, dated her for years afterward, and wrote the hit song 'Separate Lives' (a Phil Collins / Marilyn Martin duet from 'White Nights') after their breakup.
