Singer, songwriter, and guitarist who wrote and performed the iconic 'Ghostbusters' theme song in 1984. Given roughly a week to write it after Huey Lewis turned down a request to do the song. The track hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. Lewis later sued, alleging the song's hook was lifted from 'I Want a New Drug', which had been used as the temp track.
