Screenwriter who, with John J. Strauss, wrote the original 'There's Something About Mary' script. The Farrelly Brothers, friends of Decter and Strauss, bought it and rewrote it. Decter and Strauss also wrote 'The Lizzie McGuire Movie' and ran the TV show 'In Plain Sight'.
