Casting what-ifs
The hosts explore alternate casting choices – which actors were considered, auditioned, or turned down roles in the movie, and how different the film might have been with those choices. Sometimes this is grounded in real Hollywood history (actors who were actually offered the part), and sometimes it's purely hypothetical (who else could have pulled it off?).
This category taps into one of the most fun thought experiments in movie fandom. Some casting what-ifs are legendary: What if Will Smith had played Neo in 'The Matrix'? What if Tom Selleck had been Indiana Jones? The hosts often unearth surprising real-world near-misses from their half-assed internet research.
